More Boot camps to come

Well done and a huge thank you to all who have been part of PWR Fitness Boot Camps to date this year. Feb Fitness Boot Camp comes to an end this week, but is followed immediately - on Monday March 8th - by Spring Fitness Boot Camp. Its pretty much sold out but there will be more boot camps to come through the summer.

We've been indoors so far this winter, at the excellent facilities at St.Augustine's Sports Centre in Avenham, Preston. As it warms up (slightly) we'll be taking the boot camp outside for a more varied workout in the fresh air.

Russell Brady comments

"I can't speak highly enough of the professional support that Paul has provided for me over the past 6 months, which has led to so many positive outcomes for me personally. Following my bi-annual company medical in January, 09, I was approximately 18 lbs over my desired weight for my age. This was a complete shock to the system given that until recently I'd led an active life in terms of sport. I have had a number of knee operations over the past few years, but this had become too easy an excuse to stop exercise, with the inevitable outcomes. Paul's intervention has provided me with a clear direction in terms of goal setting, professionalism in terms of developing a personal exercise plan and the motivation to see it through. I have now lost 16 lbs and want to see a further 8lbs go by the beginning of September. In May I ran the Manchester 10km in 53 mins - at the start of Jan I couldn't have run 10km! - and I'm back playing 5 aside football outside of our training sessions. I feel fitter physically and mentally and I'm excited about taking on the next set of challenges."
